Mass on Holy Thursday commemorates Our Lord’s institution of the wonderful Sacraments of Holy Communion and the Priesthood.

Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence.

Easter Duty Time lasts until after Easter. Catholics are required to receive Holy Communion and, if necessary, go to Confession during this period.

A Plenary Indulgence may be gained by those who devoutly make the Way of the Cross.

Chrism Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral on Tuesday at 7.00pm. The Holy Oils for use in the parishes will be blessed by the Cardinal.
