Easter Duty Time lasts beyond Easter. Catholics are required to receive Holy Communion and, if necessary, go to Confession during this period.

St Anthony’s Novena in Glasgow commences on Tuesday, 14th April for nine weeks. The bus fare will be £5 per week. Names to Julia Cameron please (01506 828932)

I wish you all a very happy and blessed Easter.

My thanks to everyone who has remembered me this Easter – and renewed thanks and appreciation to those who so kindly remembered me in various ways on the 50th anniversary of my Ordination.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction will take place next Sunday (19th April) from noon until 4.00 pm. (Benediction at 4.00pm)

Throughout the month of May, Rosary Devotions will take place at 9.40 am, every Saturday morning.

Our best wishes and grateful thanks go to Irene Davie, who is moving to Falkirk next week. Irene has worked and supported the parish for very many years. We wish her much happiness in her new home.

Memorial Book Reminder:

We have now purchased a Memorial Book, in which names of deceased members of the parish are currently being entered.

The book will shortly be displayed in the church, open at the appropriate day.

For inclusion, the only details required are simply the name and date of death of the deceased person. (The book contains a double page for each day of the year, so there can be no confusion).
