Collections: The Offertory collection last weekend realized £584.99, and the Special Collection for the African Missions and the Holy Places, £254.65. Grateful thanks to all contributors.

The annual National Pilgrimage to Carfin will take place next Sunday, with a concelebrated Mass by the Bishops and Priests at 3.00 pm.

The next Prayer Day will take place on Saturday, 15th October in St Catharine’s Church, Cadzow Avenue. Full details will be published shortly.

Christmas Toy Appeal: The Salvation Army is urgently appealing for new children’s toys/games, to distribute among needy and vulnerable families in the area, at Christmas time. If you can contribute, please either hand your donations directly into the Salvation Army, or leave them with one of our Pass Keepers and we will forward them. Please help if you can!

Children’s Liturgy ….. will re-commence next week after the long summer break.
All children between the ages of 3 and 12 are invited to attend – and very young children are welcome to sit at the back of the Hall with accompanied adults. We have a number of religious books that are suitable for young people – and would be grateful of any relevant donations of unwanted books, games or jigsaws in good condition. Finally- and very urgently – more Leaders are required. Full training will be given If you can help us in this worthy cause, please contact Maria Ford.
