Easter Duty Time started on Ash Wednesday and runs until after Easter. During this period, all Catholics must receive Holy Communion and, if necessary, go to Confession.

Collections: The Offertory collection realized £626.58, and the second collection, £82.28. Grateful thanks to all contributors.

Special Lenten Mass Wednesday 7th at 7.30 pm: Special Lenten Mass in St Francis Xavier’s Falkirk, concelebrated by the Cardinal and Priests of the Deanery. It is hoped there will be a good turnout from the various parishes.

Spring Fete : Pupils and Staff of St Mungo’s High School are holding a Spring Fete on Saturday, 17th March from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. Proceeds in aid of Project India and Duke of Edinburgh Group.

The Knights of St Columba – an Opportunity to Serve:

His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI is appealing to the laity to assist in the Mission of the Church by becoming more involved in the work of the parishes and communities. Membership of the Knights of St Columba provides the opportunity to respond to the Holy Father’s appeal. Installation of our Office Bearers will take place next Sunday at the 10.00 am Mass.
