SVP News: Last year, our parish sent money to Fr Sukpe, the former assistant priest in Broxburn, on his return to Ghana. Fr Sukpe had appealed for money to buy a pick-up truck for his local area. £400 was collected in Bo’ness and £1,500 from West Lothian parishes. One parish in Ghana is probably the size of West Lothian, and the main road is likely to be a dirt track – hence the need for a pick-up truck. We have just heard that sufficient money has been raised and the truck has now been purchased. Fr. Sukpe sends his sincere thanks to all contributors.

SOS (1)….Counters We are short of people to assist with counting the Collections after Mass on Sundays. If you can help, please see one of the Pass Keepers.

SOS (2)….Leaders

Children’s  Liturgy at Sunday Mass All children between the ages of 3 and 12 are invited to attend – and very young children are welcome to sit at the back of the Hall with accompanied adults. We have a number of religious books that are suitable for young people and would be grateful of any relevant donations of unwanted books, games or jigsaws in good condition. Finally- and very urgently – more Leaders are required. Full training will be given. If you can help us with this, please contact Maria Ford.
