Rosary will be recited after the Saturday morning Communion Service, throughout May.

Thursday, Feast of the Ascension, is a Holyday of Obligation.


Easter Duty time – the obligation to receive the Sacraments of Holy Communion -and, if necessary, Confession, – began on Ash Wednesday and ends on Trinity Sunday.

Collections: The Offertory collection last week realized £485.51, and the second collection, £120.17. Many thanks to all contributors. Special Collection next week, for the work of the Church in the Apostolate of Communications.

The Lenten SCIAF ‘Wee Boxes’ collection amounted to £558.40. – Well Done!

Mass for New Catholics: Everyone who became a Catholic at the Easter Vigil is invited to celebrate the Eucharist with Bishop Stephen Robson, family and friends, in St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, on  19th May at 3.00 pm. To register for this event, contact Jackie at Jacqueline.heron@staned.org.uk

Rehearsals for the newly formed inter-parish Archdiocesan Choir, will take place on the 9th and 16th May at 7.00 pm in the Gillis Chapel. Anyone interested – please come and join us!
