Collections: The Offertory Collection last weekend realized £394.72 and the Special Collection in aid of the work of Justice and Peace, £235.76. Grateful thanks to all donors.

Thanks again to the Music and Movement Group for another donation of £25. This regular donation guarantees power, lighting and heating in the hall during the group’s weekly activities.

RCIA: Weekly faith formation sessions resume this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in the church hall. We now begin to explore deeper the key beliefs of our faith, and this week we will consider God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Clustering with Linlithgow: A small Working Group has been formed to take forward the clustering process with Linlithgow. The group comprises four members of St Mary’s Pastoral Council (Tony Edwards, Maria Ford, William McAllister and Callum Timms) and four parishioners from St. Michael’s (Jim Campbell, Frances Hogg, Eileen McGregor and Sarah Ryan). The first meeting of the Working Group will take place later this month and progress reports will be provided to the parishes.

St. Michael’s (Linlithgow) is holding a coffee morning on 21 January 2017 at 10.30 after Mass and a cordial invite has been extended to all parishioners at St Mary’s. The proceeds are in aid of the school kitchen that St. Michael’s is supporting through Mary’s Meals in Malawi.

In your charity, please remember in your prayers, Fr Carr, Eileen Smullen, and all the sick and housebound. Also, John Carlin, Craig Clark, Patrick Darrien, Margaret Martin, Isabella McAvoy, Elizabeth Meldrum, Hugh Mulraney and Elizabeth Ruth, whose anniversaries occur about this time, and Thomas Gourlay who died recently.
