Wednesday is the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. 

Collections: The Offertory Collection last weekend realized £439.53 and the Second Collection, £129.51. The Crib Collection amounted to £144.00 Grateful thanks to all donors.

Thank you also to the SVP for their donation of £200 to the Parish. 

Parish Pastoral Council: There will be a PPC meeting on Thursday 26th January at 7pm in the Church Hall. All parishioners are invited to attend and find out more about the group’s work or get involved. 

RCIA: Our weekly faith formation Sessions have resumed. We are currently concentrating on the beliefs we profess in the Creed. In the next session, which will be held in the Church Hall on Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm, we will look at our belief in Jesus Christ.

St Mary’s Parent Council has formed a sub-committee to deal with all matters relating to the Fair. The first meeting will be held in the Church Hall on Monday evening at 6.30 pm. The Parent Council will offer support to all parents / guardians who have children involved in the Fair. Any parishioners able to lend a hand or give some advice would be very welcome and greatly appreciated.

Memorial Book: If you wish to have names added to the parish memorial book, please complete and return the slip on the back of the printed version of this week’s parish newsletter. Alternatively, please write down the name of the deceased and the date of their death and hand it to a pass-keeper. 

In your charity, please remember in your prayers Fr Carr, Eileen Smullen, and all the sick and housebound. Also, Ritchie Blair, Margaret Buchanan, John Dunn, Catherine Hodge, Peter Maguire, Colleen Malarky, Sarah Marshall, George Mitchell, Mary Romanes, Edward Ryan, George Scobie and Kate Tooey, whose anniversaries occur about this time.
