Catholic Education Week: Today (Sunday) marks the beginning of Catholic Education Week, the annual celebration of the importance of educating our children and young people in the Catholic faith. This year’s theme asks us to reflect on how we are “Developing a Community of Faith and Learning” in our homes, schools and parishes.

Next Sunday we will welcome to the parish representatives from our local Catholic schools to help us mark the conclusion of Catholic Education Week.

Please remember the work of our Catholic schools, their pupils and staff in your prayers.

Bottle Bingo: This event will take place in the Hall on Friday, 31st March at 7.00 pm. (More details nearer the time) Donations of prizes etc. would be gratefully received!

Help Needed: With spring approaching this is an appeal for volunteers to help with the maintenance of the church grounds. Two people willing to give 2 hours a week would make an enormous difference. If you can help please see William or Robert McAllister – or any member of the Finance and Fabric Committee.

Working with Linlithgow: Father Paul Kelly has sent his thanks to those from St Mary’s who attended the recent coffee morning at St Michael’s and helped to swell the total raised for Mary’s Meals to over £1300.

St Michael’s has a very active Ladies Group and ladies from St Mary’s are welcome to attend.

Watch this space for dates of forthcoming meetings!

Finance: The annual statement of accounts is available on the notice board in the hall
