Collections: The Offertory Collection last weekend realized £467.47 and the second collection, £99.36. Grateful thanks to all donors.

Special Collection today for the African Missions and Holy Places.

Mary’s Meals: We are once again appealing for support for this very worthy charity. If new school bags and school essentials are being bought for the new term, please consider donating last year’s bags and equipment to Mary’s Meals. Among the many articles required are:

  • Pens….. pencils ….. rubbers ….. rulers ….. pencil cases ….. jotters ….. balls ….. rucksacks.
  • Tooth brushes ….. toothpaste …. hand towels.
  • Shorts …..polo / T shirts ….. flip-flops.

Children’s Liturgy will re-commence during Mass on Sunday 27th August. All children are welcome but under 3-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.

A volunteer-run ‘Breakfast Club’ is starting in St Mary’s Primary School in the new term! The aim is to ensure that every child has breakfast each schoolday, thereby helping them to achieve their potential, whilst creating a sociable environment where the children interact. Date for Your Diary…….Social Night: There will be a Social Night in Christ the King, Grangemouth, on21st September at 7.30 pm. Admission is £7.00. Please forward your name to Julia Cameron or one of the Pass-Keepers.
