Fabric & Finance Committee: there will be a committee meeting in the Presbytery on Sunday 1 October at 3pm.

Pastoral Parish Council: there will be a meeting in the Church Hall on Thursday 21

RCIA: this is the process of faith formation by which adults who choose to do so are
welcomed into the Catholic Church. Weekly sessions will guide enquirers, who seek to become full members of the Catholic Church, through the teachings and beliefs of the Church, and what being Catholic means.

These sessions are also a great opportunity for those who have been Catholic for some time longer, or even since infancy, to learn our faith while offering a supportive environment for those new to the Church. All are very welcome to attend. Sessions will be held weekly on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the church hall, starting this week, 19th September.

A volunteer-run ‘Breakfast Club’ is starting in St Mary’s Primary School on 25 September. The aim is to ensure that every child has breakfast each school day, thereby helping them to achieve their potential, whilst creating a sociable environment where the children interact. More adult volunteers are required. If any parishioner has an hour to spare on the odd morning and would be interested in helping out with this new venture, please contact: Michael Burnett on 07982 999 785 or by email to mburnett@blueyonder.co.uk
