PARISH ASSEMBLY: This annual gathering of our parish will take place after Mass on Sunday 26th May in the church hall. This is an important event, as it is your opportunity to make suggestions for your parish, to ask questions and to hear reports from those responsible for different areas of the life of the parish. Light refreshments will be provided. We hope you can come along!

ARCHDIOCESAN LOURDES DAY 2019: The Annual Archdiocesan Lourdes Day will take place on Sunday 26 May at the Gillis Centre between 3pm and 5pm.  The event aims to recreate the spirit of Lourdes within the Archdiocese and will consist of a Marian procession, Solemn Benediction and the Blessing of the Sick. All are very welcome.

ST MARGARET’S PILGRIMAGE 2019: The St Margaret’s Pilgrimage will take place in Dunfermline on 2 June 2019. It’s a wonderful opportunity for all Scotland’s Catholics to join together to pray for our nation, our families and our friends. For more Info visit

GIFT AID AND THE SECOND COLLECTION: If you are a gift aider and you also put money into the second collection it would be better if you were to put that money in your gift aid envelope instead, we can then reclaim 25p for every pound donated. If you are a taxpayer and not currently in the parish gift aid scheme please consider joining; signing a simple form is all that is required. William McAllister or Tony Edwards can provide further details if you are interested in finding out more.

COLLECTIONS: The Offertory Collection last weekend realised £493.07 and the Second Collection £150.52. Grateful thanks to all donors. There will be a special collection next week for the Aged and Infirm Clergy Fund; there are envelopes for this special collection in the hall for those who are in the Gift Aid Scheme.

The SCIAF collection from the ‘Wee Boxes’ realised £625.05 – thank you!!
