COLLECTIONS: The Offertory Collection last weekend realised £387.70 and the Second Collection raised £70.99. Grateful thanks to all donors.
YOUTH MINISTRY: There will be a meeting for anyone wishing to share ideas or contribute to the discussion regarding re-establishing our parish youth group. All are very welcome to come along. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 16th June, at 7.30pm in the church hall.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: The first meeting of the new term for the PPC will take place on Wednesday 24th July at 7pm in the church hall. This is the first meeting of the new PPC, so no members have yet been appointed. If you would like to join the PPC, please either attend this meeting or inform Callum Timms by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text 07817 510 850. All are very welcome, and the commitment is minimal with one meeting taking place per month. We hope to see you at this meeting!
MARY’S MEALS: We are once again appealing for support for this very worthy charity.If new school bags and school essentials are being bought for the new term, please consider donating last year’s bags and equipment to Mary’s Meals. Among the manyarticles required are:- pens, pencils, rubbers, rulers, pencil cases, jotters, balls, rucksacks, tooth brushes, toothpaste, hand towels, shorts, polo/T shirts and flip-flops.
ST THERESE OF LISIEUX: To welcome this little saint there is a planned public procession from St Theresa’s Church Newarthill to St Francis Xavier Carfin on Friday 30 August 2019 starting at 10:15 am. Everyone is encouraged to line the streets to welcome the Little Flower.
