RCIA - Have you ever considered becoming Catholic? Often there are individuals sitting quietly at Mass who come along either with family or on their own and are considering becoming Catholic. Or perhaps you’d like to learn more about the Church and delve deeper into your own faith. Celebrate Marriage - On Wednesday 31 May at 7:15pm the Archbishop will celebrate a special Mass for Married and Engaged Couples at the Cathedral. All married and engaged couples are very welcome to come on the night and celebrate the gift of marriage. After the Mass there will be a celebratory reception in Coffee Saints to which everyone attending the Mass is invited. If you are celebrating a significant anniversary this year, or know couples who are, do let us know so that we can send a personal invitation. Hold the date - Archbishop Cushley will lead a Corpus Christi procession through Falkirk town centre to St Francis Xavier’s Church on Sunday 11 June. Details to follow soon.

African & Caribbean Mass - The monthly African & Caribbean Mass takes place at 2pm this Sunday (7 May) at St Cuthbert’s Church, 104 Slateford Road, Edinburgh, EH14 1PT. All welcome.

Laudato Si’ Week 2023 - Laudato Si’ Week takes place from May 21-28.This global celebration marks the eighth anniversary of Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical on care for creation. There are a range of global events taking place that you can take part in. Vocation Mission - Vocation Mission takes place at St Mary, Star of the Sea, 106 Constitution Street, Leith, EH6 6AW, on Sunday 21 May. The event begins with Mass at 10:30am followed by a talk from Sr Immaculada Perez, OMI. The event is to help promote a culture of vocations in homes and families. All welcome.

St Margaret’s Pilgrimage 2023 - St Margaret’s Pilgrimage returns to Dunfermline on Sunday 18 June. Mass is at 2:30pm in St Margaret’s Memorial Church in East Port, with Archbishop Cushley as principal celebrant. Ecumenical service at 12:30pm in Dunfermline Abbey, followed by prayers at the tomb of St Margaret. Join people from across the Archdiocese and beyond to give thanks to God for St Margaret’s example of faith, charity and leadership. 

Lourdes Pilgrimage 2023 - There’s still time to book your place on the Archdiocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes, which takes place from 7-14 July. Everyone is welcome, and those with disabilities/medical issues are especially invited - you will be cared for 24/7 by a dedicated team of doctors, nurses and support workers. Financial assistance may be available to support your pilgrimage. Called & Gifted Workshop - Identify your charisms (spiritual gifts) and discern God’s call through the Called and Gifted Workshop. It is hosted by the Archdiocese in collaboration with the St Catherine of Siena Institute and takes place on Saturday 20 May from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Dominican Conference - This conference offers participants an opportunity to explore what lies at the heart of being a Dominican. Retreat - Journeying Onward is a four-week retreat beginning on Saturday 27 May, offered by the Edinburgh Jesuit Centre and The Epiphany Group Scotland.
