New to Catholicism?
"If anyone serves me, my Father will honour him." John 12:26

Each year we are approached by people new to the faith, but who would like to become Catholic or simply wish to explore the possibility a little further. We have a group in our parish designed for this very purpose.

Thinking of becoming Catholic?

In the first instance, we would be delighted to welcome you to join our parish community for Mass. Through doing so, we hope that you would get to know our parish community, and share in our celebrations. You can find out more about Mass times and what to expect when you attend Mass by clicking here.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process which the Church sets out for adults who wish to become Catholic. Following this approach, we would meet weekly to explore our Catholic faith in an accessible and conversational manner. The process for those wishing to become Catholic usually begins in September, and all are very welcome.

The first part of the process usually runs until Christmas, and is simply an opportunity to hear a bit more about the beliefs and teachings of the Catholic Church, to develop our understanding of our relationship with God, and consider whether we wish to continue with the process.
