News…

Thursday Evenings 6.30-7.00PM

God often speaks to us in the silence. In a busy world it can be difficult to hear the silence. Christ is waiting during Exposition to see you and talk to you in the quiet stillness. Can you give Him 15-30 minutes?

Corpus Christi Procession - Sunday 22 June

Archbishop Leo will lead the Archdiocesan Corpus Christi Procession from St Patrick’s Church in Kilsyth at 3:00pm today. This is a joyous occasion with the Blessed Sacrament being carried through the streets. First Holy Communicants in the Archdiocese are invited to take a special place in the procession wearing their formal clothes.

The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £432.73 and £232.40 was raised in the special collection for the Day for Life. in addition, £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility. There will be a special collection next week for Peterspence.

Volunteers are needed for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, to distribute the Eucharist at Mass, and readers to proclaim God’s word. No experience or qualification is needed – just give your name to a passkeeper or sign up using the lists in the church hall. Full training will be given, and your support will be much appreciated.

Altar servers: we’d love to have a team of Altar Servers in the parish and would ask that anyone interested sign up using the lists in the hall. Anyone from Primary 5 upwards, including high school pupils, young and older adults too!
