The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £352.82, in addition £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility. Also, £237 was raised in the special collection for “The Day of the Poor”. Grateful thanks to all donors. There will be a special collection today in support of Catholic Education Week.

 

The second graveside prayer service is being held at 11.30am today at New Carriden Cemetery. 

 

Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) – the next meeting of the PPC will take place on Monday25th November at 7pm – all are welcome to attend.

 

RCIA: The next sessions for this year’s RCIA journey will take place 26th November at 7pm in the church hall. Everyone is warmly invited to come along to support those making the journey, or simply to learn a bit more about our faith.

 

The New Lectionary: Take a closer look at the language of the new Lectionary with Fr Jamie McMorrin. Learn key words and phrases you can listen out for at Sunday Mass and explore the Biblical background of the New Translation. Fr Jamie presents a 45-minute session on Zoom (webinar) over three weeks in Advent: Wed 4 Dec, Wed 11 Dec, and Wed 18 Dec at 7:00pm. You can register on the Archdiocese website.

 

St Andrew’s Celebration will take place on 29th November at 7pm. The Celebration will be followed by a fish supper, tickets for which are priced at £5. Fish Supper tickets, will be limited to 90 are available in the hall

 

SVP News - The annual Christmas lunch will be held on Friday December 13th, 1 pm, at the Corbie Inn. The lunch is for retired and infirm parishioners. Lunch requests will be collated later.
