This weekend we again welcome Father Jim Smith to celebrate Mass in Father Emmanuel’s absence on holiday in Nigeria.
The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £442.70 in addition £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility. Also, £462.50 was raised at the Christmas Masses. Grateful thanks to all donors. There will be a special collection this weekend for the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland’s Justice and Peace Commission.
Pope Francis has declared 2025 to be a Holy Year of Jubilee for the Catholic Church, an event that takes place once every 25 years. Archbishop Cushley opened the Jubilee Year for the Archdiocese with Holy Mass and the blessing of the Jubilee Cross at St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh, on Sunday 29 December.
200 Club – The book for the 2025 draw is now open. Tickets remain at £13 for the year and each number is entered into each monthly draw. Please see Tony after Mass to purchase your tickets.
During Father Emmanuel’s holiday Mass during the week will be on Wednesday (at 10am), Thursday (at 6pm) and Friday (at 10am).
