The Offertory Collections last weekend amounted to £437.46, grateful thanks to all donors.

There will be a special collection today, 14th July, for Sea Sunday. All funds raised on Sea Sunday are sent to Stella Maris (formerly known as Apostleship of the Sea) which is the maritime agency of the Catholic Church. Its teams of chaplains provide practical help and pastoral care to seafarers and fishers in the UK and around the world. Every penny helps them stand alongside seafarers and fishers so that they will always have a friend in port who they can turn to. Locally, Stella Maris work extensively at Grangemouth to ensure seafarers are well supported both practically and spiritually, and their work nationally around human trafficking has been groundbreaking. If you can offer any support, it will be very much appreciated! Gift aid envelopes are also available in the church hall.

A Prayer for Peace: O Loving God, your Son, Jesus Christ, came into the world to do your Will and leave us His Peace. Through the intercession and example of our Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Peace, grant us the wisdom and humility to reflect that peace to the world. Inspire our thoughts, words and deeds to bear witness to your presence in our hearts. May your Holy Spirit fill us with every grace and blessing so that we may pursue what leads to peace for all humanity. Amen
