Prayer intentions

In your charity, please remember in your prayers all those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, all who are sick or housebound and all who have died recently. Also, please remember Mary Clelland, Margaret Maguire, Linda Kilgallon, Catherine Orr and Agnes Carlin whose anniversaries occur about this time.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

PRAYING FOR OUR SICK AND HOUSEBOUND PARISHIONERS: We would like to return to praying weekly for our sick and housebound parishioners at Sunday Masses, and including such prayer requests in our weekly newsletter. To add someone's name to the list, please email info@rcboness.org or speak to any passkeeper. Please get agreement from the person concerned, and don't forget to let us know if they no longer should be on the list.

40 HOURS' DEVOTION: The Archdiocese has asked that 40 Hours of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is offered in every parish. We will host this Devotion from Sunday 20'n March, and the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed throughout the day on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Please consider spending time in prayer during these days and sign up in the hall if you can commit to specific times. We will need to know that people will be in the church if it is to be possible to have the church open for the three days concerned.

A PRAYER FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE: O Loving God, your Son, Jesus Christ, came into the world to do your Will and leave us His Peace. Through the intercession and example of our Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Peace, grant us the wisdom and humility to reflect that peace to the world. Inspire our thoughts, words and deeds to bear witness to your presence in our hearts. May your Holy Spirit fill us with every grace and blessing so that we may pursue what leads to peace for all humanity. Amen.
