The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £406.05 in addition £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility. Grateful thanks to all donors.

 

RCIA – Join us for the upcoming RCIA sessions which are held at 7pm at St Mary’s. All are welcome whether you wish to become Catholic or to just learn about our faith. The next sessions will be held on 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March  at 7pm .

 

Pro-Life -Registration is open for the Lent Pro-Life Stations here:  https://bit.ly/stations25   Starting Monday, 10th March and every Monday in Lent, the on-line Stations are a lovely way to experience Lent and meditate on Christ’s Passion as we prepare for Easter. One registration includes all the dates, and every event starts at 7.45pm. After the Stations there will be a short reflection from a great line up of speakers: 

·        10-Mar-25:  Bishop Hugh Gilbert, Bishop of the Diocese of Aberdeen

·        17-Mar-25:  Fr Paul Henderson, Assistant Priest at St John & St Nicolas in Broxburn

·        24-Mar-25: John Deighan, CEO of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children

·        31-Mar-25:  Fr Greg Murphy, parish priest of St Joseph's, Dundee

·        07-Apr-25:  Sr Andrea  Fraile of the Sisters of the Gospel of Life

 Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) – there will be a meeting of the PPC at 7pm on 12th March 2025. All are welcome to attend.

 

An Invitation from the Ladies Group of St Michael’s Linlithgow to their  Interchurch evening on Wednesday 23rd April 7.30pm at Queen Margaret Hall Linlithgow.  It is a musical evening with Margaret Lawers and the Ukulele  group. Any ladies wishing to go please add your name to the list in the hall.

 

SVP Caravan News: we have only been allocated one caravan so far this year, for Port Seton – Saturday July 5th, for one week. As it is a school holiday allocation, a family with school age children will get first preference. You may want to put your name in for any cancellations, which can crop up at short notice. Contact SVP for details. May we remind you that there is a ‘no pets’ rule in place.
