The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £539.26, in addition £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility, grateful thanks to all donors.

 

The Funeral Mass for John Hepburn will take place on 12 the September at 10 o’clock.

 

There will be a meeting of the Finance and Fabric and Health and Safety Committees on Sunday 22nd September at 3pm. If anyone has any issues that they want to raise, please see Tony after Mass.

Local Clergy Moves: The Right Reverend Monsignor Allan Canon CHAMBERS VG to become Administrator of St Francis Xavier’s, Falkirk; The Reverend Joshua KAURAS to become Assistant Priest at St Francis Xavier’s, Falkirk; The Reverend Peter SHANKLAND to become Assistant Priest at St Francis Xavier’s, Falkirk.

 

RCIA: The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the journey taken by adults who wish to become Catholic. If you or someone you know of might be interested in finding out more or starting this journey this year, please get in touch for more information by emailing Office.StMarysBoness@staned.org.uk. This journey typically begins later in September, and it’s great to have already had a few expressions of interest!

 

The National Youth Pilgrimage is in Glasgow on Saturday 21 September. The event is open to ages 18-35. Pilgrims from the Archdiocese are asked to meet outside the City Chambers in George Square at 12:15pm. Please register with Fr Robert Taylor: frrobert.taylor@staned.org.uk
